This was done for art class BUT I was able to really add in my views of world cultures into it. For the assignment, we had to pick a location, person and object [red city, two children, sheep] and tie them together in a composition-focused piece.
The final piece is intended to relate to the changing nature of Chinese society. Originally based on an agrarian lifestyle, the country has moved to a more hectic and urbanized culture. I also wanted to highlight the sheer size of the nation as it now exists, so I paralleled the eyes of the young girl with that of the sheep in the herd.
Oh! And, btw, we had to incorporate our names 20 times into the piece [I only could do 15] but see if you can find them!
